What our clients say about us

Women’s Business Center gave
me the encouragement and assistance I needed. They
supplied me with a detailed list of small business
loan options and the steps necessary to open a
business. Moreover it was the confidence that was
reinforced in me that this business could be more
than a dream on paper.

The Women’s Business Center has been extremely
influential and helpful with the success of Marchand
Landscape Designs. I have taken advantage of the
counseling services that are offered, and
have also attended a marketing class. The counselor
assisted me with developing a business plan, marketing
strategies, and gave me tips on how to make the
transition into the world of self-employment. The
support and advice I’ve received from the
Women’s Business Center has proven to be
instrumental with the growth of my business and
myself as a businesswoman.

I went to every meeting about getting a business
started the Women’s Business Center had,
and read all their literature. When I completed
the classes and all the reading materials I felt
I was Business Savvy.

WBC assisted us in preparing a budget and writing
a business plan, as well as offering us an invaluable
advice on the types of small business loans that
are available. Danette eased the very difficult
task of transitioning our business from start-up
to running.

“The Women’s Business Center gives
women the courage to follow their dreams,” according
to Mel and Lynn, “not only by building self-confidence
but by teaching them and giving them the tools
along the way. We would not be here today without
the fabulous women at the Women’s Business
Center who have encouraged us daily.”
